Been soooooo busy! UGH!

So i've had a pretty busy weekend and week so far.

Saturday I took my good friend Lauren to the DFW airport. Here's a pic of us. :) She's from Michigan and she went home for a week. I'm picking her up from DFW on Friday and so excited to see her again. After I dropped her off at the airport I called my aunt Sarah and was seeing how she was and told her I was in town. I met up with Cipriano and we went to their apartment which was a lot closer to the airport than I was expecting which is a good thing cause I was kinda afraid I might get lost. Any way we hung out at their apartment and I watched a video of their wedding. It was a neat video because they did some cool editing stuff (although my flute playing wasn't too hot...sorry Sarah). There was a part during the vows where it cuts to my mom crying and it's really funny. You can also see Grandma chewing something when she is walking in. HAHA. Anyway then we went to this Mexican restaurant which was really good and they had 99 CENT margaritas! What a steal! lol Then we went back to their apartment and watched this 2 hour episode of this dirty house show where this house was gross and they cleaned it up. It was interesting. Then I left and went back to Waco.
I started the 2nd summer session on Monday. I'm taking my last Spanish class EVER from 8 to 10 am Mon-Thur. I'm also taking an online History class also which I haven't really done anything with it yet. I should probly get on that. You'll have to hear about the incidents I had yesterday. I missed class on the first day of class (whoops) so yesterday was my first day of class. I was barely able to pay for my tuition (and rent and bills either for that matter) and I ofcourse wasn't able to get my books yet and I had planned on getting my books this Friday because that's when I get paid. So I go to class at 8 and my teacher embarrasses me in front of the class because I didn't have my book. I really don't like that lady. She's a young high school teacher who teaches in West, TX and she thinks she's all high and mighty because she is teaching at MCC....it's like news flash....they both suck! haha She told me I HAD to have a book. So I freaked out and tried to get money from my parents which they are tight so I couldnt' get it from them so I had to ask one of my friends who thankfully let me borrow the money. So I got back to MCC and go to park and I hit the car parked next to me. Just a little hit...it didn't do any damage, but the guy was sitting in his passenger seat so I like freaked out a little bit and got out of my car and in the process of talking to the guy I locked my keys in my car. They guy who's car I hit was really nice and didn't get upset. So I called my phone provider because I pay for mobile assistance and they do lockouts for you. I took like 30 minutes to talk to them because they took forever getting me to the right person to talk to. They finally showed up and then I went home in the freakin HEAT with no air conditioning and went home and cried. haha jk but I was pissed. The good thing about it was I got the book that I thought as going to cost 130 dollars for 40 dollars!! That made me happy.

Just thought I'd share that with ya...hope you got a laugh out of it.

I guess I might as well...

Since the rest of my family has decided to start using this blogger thing, I thought I guess I should try it too. So you are all lucky! haha jk
So summer has been kinda boring and sucky. I'm taking summer school all summer. There are two summer sessions during the summer and I am taking Spanish 2 during summer one. It's a FOUR hour class from 10:15-2:05 Monday through Thursday. We have a test every Monday and Wednesday. Yeah no fun at all, although the class itself is not that bad. I'm taking these summer classes at MCC so I can transfer them to Baylor (which means grades don't count for my gpa so I'm fine with a C) but I'll probly get an A in the class because the teacher grades pretty easily. I'm taking Spanish 3 next summer session which only meets for 2 hours a day which will be great, althuogh it does start at 8 am. I'm also going to take a history class online so we'll see how that goes. It will be nice to get these basics out of the way becuase I've kind of put them off for a long time. whoops lol
I just got back yesterday evening from Midland. I left on Thursday afternoon and drove to Clyde which is right outside of Abilene to stay with my music minister's parents. Kelli went with me so I wouldn't have to go by myself so that was cool. The people were so nice and they fed us very well too. Lauren (my music minister's daughter) decided to come up to Clyde also with her friend Ashley from our church, so we all drove around Abilene and she showed us around which was neat. Lauren even found my good friend Nathan's house. haha So I rode with Nathan and we all hung out for a little bit. Then I finally went to sleep around 2:30 or 3:00 am which was not a wise decision. I woke up and we ate breakfast and got ready. We were about ready to go and I went to brush my teeth and I guess I brushed too hard or something because it made me throw up! (sorry tmi haha) well I cleaned up after myself and we went on our way to Midland. We were going to Midland, by the way, becuase I auditioned for the Midland-Odessa Symphony. So we got a little lost but finally made it about 20 minutes before my audition time was. So I went and warmed up and auditioned. I didn't do horribly but it definately wasnt' my best, so I wasn't surpised when I didn't make it to finals. It's ok though because I enjoyed the process and I have the experience of doing a real audition. It probably didnt' help that I had thrown up that morning, couldn't stay awake on the drive to Midland and had to take a caffeine pill, and I was drinking a Pepsi to keep awake. haha Then Kelli and I went to eat at Cotton Patch in Midland, then we set for home. I decided we should drive straight to Waco so we did with a few brief stops. It was a little under 5 hour trip...kinda boring but I was SOO glad to be home! I was extremely exhausted but that didn't stop me from hanging out with my friends until 2 am. haha yet another bad choice. I'm at work at the library right now and I was 10 minutes late because I just didn't want to wake up but I'm here.

Hope you enjoyed my first blog. There will be more to come!
